Kenosha County Division of Health Laboratory - 8600 Sheridan Road 262-605-670. Lake and well water testing is available for a $20 fee. The lake water was tested in April 2005 and passed with 31 E. coli colonies/100ml sample, way below the standard of less than 235 E. coli colonies/100ml.

WAKE RULES
The Town of Salem ordinances require all lakes in the area to be "NO WAKE" between the hours of 7 PM and 10 AM every day. Watercraft must stay at least 200 feet from the shoreline and 100 feet from other boats and skiers. Water skiing should run in a counter clockwise direction. Violators will be reported and ticketed. Dogs are not allowed on public beaches. |
