Salem Town Hall

Salem Town Hall   9814 Antioch Road, Salem (Rt. 83 and 98th Street)  Hours: Monday - Friday 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.  Residents can pay property taxes, obtain building permits, pay utility bills, purchase dog licenses, vote, and attend Town Meetings at this location.

Parks Commission- 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7 P.M.  Email our representative  lkamin@sequoits.com.  Larry is looking for suggestions for play equipment etc. for our beach park areas. Please contact Larry with your suggestions.

Kenosha County Division Of Health

Kenosha County Division of Health Laboratory - 8600 Sheridan Road  262-605-670.  Lake and well water testing is available for a $20 fee.  The lake water was tested in April 2005 and passed with 31 E. coli colonies/100ml sample, way below the standard of less than 235 E. coli colonies/100ml.

WAKE RULES

The Town of Salem ordinances require all lakes in the area to be "NO WAKE" between the hours of 7 PM and 10 AM every day.  Watercraft must stay at least 200 feet from the shoreline and 100 feet from other boats and skiers.  Water skiing should run in a counter clockwise direction.   Violators will be reported and ticketed.  Dogs are not allowed on public beaches.

Neighborhood Watch

Please be a considerate neighbor - barking dogs, loud music, leaf blowers, and lawn mowing can be disturbing.  Please maintain quiet between 10 P.M. and 7:30 A.M. in accordance with town ordinances.  Please pick up after your dogs, including open areas and any area near mailboxes. Dogs should be kept on a leash at all times.    Call the Village of Salem at 1-262-843-2313 with questions or problems.
