Christmas Party
December 12th, 2009
December 2009 Christmas Party - This event is open to Lake Shangri-La paid members only. The fun starts at 6 PM with a pot luck dinner. Please bring a dish to pass (enough to feed your group.) Games, music, gifts for the children and a visit from Santa will be fun for the whole family. Volunteers are needed for this event. Children 12 and under can receive a gift from Santa, however each child must be pre-registered before November 28th. PLEASE NOTE: the correct phone and email for the event chairwoman is:

FISHING DERBY

January 2009 41st Annual Lake Shangri-La Ice Fishing Derby
$5.00 registration fee is required to participate. This fee also enters participants into the main grand prize drawings. Fishermen must pre register and receive a wrist band to be eligible for prizes. Registration will take place at the Community Center, 22112 121st Street, Bristol, WI. from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, January . Registration can also done Saturday and Sunday from 6 am to 4 pm in the Community Center, or at 2 registration points on the lake. Prizes will be awarded for largest game fish, and a special children's category for the very smallest pan fish
Food and beverage will be available for purchase in the Community Center. The Grand Prize Raffle prizes of $1000, $500, and $100 will be drawn Sunday at 5 pm. You do not have to fish or be present to win the cash drawing. Other raffles include a $300 Bass Pro Shops gift certificate, a shotgun or rifle, and more. Call Carol 262-862-2614 to purchase additional Derby tickets for the grand prizes. Bill at 262-862-2508 to donate prizes or help with the big wheel raffles. Easter Egg Hunt
UPDATE: The Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 4th, Contact Jill Barningham to register your child by emailing JillBarningham@wi.rr.com or calling 262.862.1559. Drop off candy before March 27th, 2009.
Easter Egg Hunt - The fun starts at 10:30 AM at the Community Center. Coffee, juice, and donuts will be served. This activity is open to both residents and non-residents. If you would like your child (children) to attend, you must register your child and contribute 1 bag of candy per child. Please drop off candy before the event (bin will be provided). 4th of July Parade
July, 2010 Boat Parade and Breakfast kicks off at 9:00 AM at the Community Center. Bring your friends and family and meet your neighbors at this annual event. Nominal charge for breakfast.
Family Fun Day
The 4th Annual Family Fun DaySeptember 5,2009 from 12 Noon to 10 PM.

The 2009 Family Fun Day was a huge success, many came out to enjoy the bands, ponies, bouncer, cardboard boat races and snuggle and talk around a cozy fire while enjoying refreshments and witty conversation. Thanks to Paul and EVERYONE that helped make it happen.
Halloween Party
October 24th, 2009
October - HALLOWEEN PARTY at the Community Center, 22112 121st Street. Doors open at 4:30 and the Potluck dinner begins at 5:00 pm.
Please bring a dish to pass (enough for your family.) This year there will costume judging by age groups at 6:00 pm. Costumes will be judged by age group: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, Teen - Adult.
The party is open to residents and non-residents. If you would like your child to receive a trick or treat bag, a donation of one bag of candy per child should be dropped off at 12105 217th Ave. by October 21st, 2009. Thanks!

November 8th, 2009 - 4th Annual FOOTBALL PARTY AND CHILI COOK-OFF Bring your friends and family to the Community Center 22112 121st Street. Bring a crock pot with your favorite chili recipe and sign up to enter the Chili Contest by calling Jeff at 862-1559 or Paul Dulaney at 862-7024.
CHILI CONTEST: Contact Carri Johnson to register for the Chili Contest @ 862-1393. Winning chili recipes will receive gift certificates for first, second, and third places
